RyCo Wellness

RyCo Wellness is a North Scottsdale practice centered on direct primary care and whole-person wellness. The practice was created by Kendra Carter, NP, who has cared for patients in the North Scottsdale area since 2015.

Direct primary care uses a membership-based model in which patients pay a monthly fee directly to the provider. RyCo Wellness describes its membership as including unlimited office visits, longer appointments, direct communication by call, text, or email, preventive care, chronic disease management, care coordination, and specialist referrals. Members also receive discounts on select labs, medications, and in-office services, including IV Therapy.

RyCo Wellness also offers IV Therapy, with options listed on its website at $100 and $200. The practice accepts patients on a pay-per-visit basis, so membership is not required to become a patient. Online booking is available through the practice’s booking page.

Membership and care model

• Individual membership: $75 per month
• Family membership for up to four members: $200 per month
• Each additional family member: $25 per month
• Teacher membership: $55 per month
• Memberships are described as month-to-month and cancellable with proper notice

RyCo Wellness states that direct primary care is not health insurance and does not cover hospitalizations, surgeries, or specialist visits. Patients may continue using insurance for services outside the practice, including labs, imaging, hospital care, specialist visits, and prescriptions.
